These days  of the so called "longest recession" there are consumers whose needs include such items as a $250 3-D Razor with a “jet clean system,”  a $169 monogrammed sherpa pet bed, or maybe a  $549.99 satin purple vacuum with an "articulating tool."  Perhaps you are in the market for a $129.99 LED Aircraft Grade Flashlight? Chances are that if you are visiting our website, you are not out buying these extravagances.  Nonetheless, some items you actually may be purchasing have been on the rise.  According to the MPAA,  a movie ticket in 2010 now averages $7.95, up 24% from 2005.  The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in its November 2010 data extract reports basics such as bread and eggs up 34% and 15% respectively v.s. the  same period 2005 levels.

Is it any wonder that traditional wireless carriers have been ratcheting up our monthly cell phones bills with  ever increasing "necessary services ?"  According to a recent J.D. Power & Associates Survey from September 2010, the average monthly wireless bill is $78 compared to just $69 three years ago.  As you are probably aware, it's not uncommon for an individual's monthly expense for the latest smartphone to be in excess of $100.

Our phones do not double as GPS Navigators, Pedometers, or TV-Streaming doodads.  Our handsets function first & foremost as phones! We carefully select our handsets based on call clarity, battery life, and durability.  All handsets for sale at Frugalphone Wireless are compatible with Page Plus.  Page Plus is a prepaid  wireless provider operating on one of America's largest networks. 

The reason we sell only a few different handsets is that we want to keep it simple. We think they are the best phones for our customers needs and offer the best value.  We have extensively researched our various handsets, read hundreds of user reviews,  and our staff has personally tested each model.  We buy these handsets in bulk and pass on the savings to our customers.  In addition, since we only carry a few handsets we are able to offer better support & accessories for these devices.  

In addition, Frugalphone Wireless may sell both brand new handsets and  like-new Refurbished handsets.  Buying a Refurbished handset not only saves yet another phone's components from ending up in a landfill, but you get a tested phone for much lower than what it would retail.
